King Charles III and the Queen Consort have landed at RAF Northolt after spending the day in Northern Ireland. The Rolls-Royce Phantom IV carrying them had been owned by the late Queen since 1950; one of only 18 ever made.

Interestingly many people here have cited the reports of 30-hour queues to see the Queen lying in state as their reason for coming today. Could the dire warnings actually mean significantly fewer people than expected turn up at Westminster Hall this week?

Mendy allegedly raped five women in the "panic rooms" (so called because of locking mechanisms which make them hard to open) and cinema of his mansion, or while they were unconscious. He denies eight counts of rape, one of attempted rape and one of sexual assault.
